Grattan Street Press team ventured out to Clunes in regional Victoria to partake in the town’s annual Booktown Festival. Clunes pulled out all the stops for the weekend with perfect weather and crowds of like-minded individuals for us to discuss all things literary with! The weekend was an overall success for the press with our team selling copies of The Forger’s Wife and Force and Fraud, promoting our forthcoming books and putting GSP’s name out into the literary community.
The picturesque landscape of Victoria’s first gold town was the perfect setting for promoting our colonial Australian popular fiction series and engaging with members of the literary community about everything from the republishing of out of print works to their own unpublished manuscripts.
Big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat or purchase copies of our books! For anyone who came by to pitch to us feel free to submit your manuscripts through the link below, our editorial team are ready and waiting to read your stories!
